Are Antiques What You’re After?

What classifies something as an antique?

The term antique is commonly used, and most people associate it with something that is quite old. While that is true, there is much more to it than that. In order for an item to be considered an antique, it has to be at least 100 years old. While different items can constitute different labels (or more specific labels) this is the general rule of thumb that all antiquities dealers use.

What are some examples of antiques?

A few examples of antiques are as follows:

  • A 1909 Indian Head Cent

  • A Ford Model T Produced in 1915

  • A Ball Mason Jar Produced in 1885

Current Antique Timeline: 1924 or Before

The list goes on and on.
